Book Day Celebrations Continue at Mower’s Meadow Saturday Flea Market Next Season

Thank you to everyone who participated on the Book Day Celebration this summer at Mower’s Meadow Saturday Flea Market.

Writers, story tellers and poets celebrated their work with readings and displays of copies of their books to sell on Saturdays.

On book day, writers discussed their work with readers. Throughout the flea market season, books were available for sale at a book booth at Mower’s Meadow Saturday Flea Market.

Contributing writers included Neal Brownell, Avigayil Landsman, Mary Guiliano, Judith Kerman, Judith Boggess, Mercedes Cecilia, Erica Obey, Jeffrey Bovee, Leslie Gerber, Carmela Tal Baron, Emmanuelle Linard, Eric Siegel, Sue Simms, Lisa Mullenneau.

Much of the credit for this ongoing event goes to John and Janine Mower. They made space available for the writers and readers. They recruited writers for the project. When chairs were suddenly needed at the writer presentation, they appeared…complements of John and Janine Mower. And, they are in for the 2020 season!

Current plans include a book display table on Saturdays throughout the coming season in addition to a Book Day Celebration.

In order for our 2020 Book Day Celebration to be the ongoing celebration we look expect, I need your help. Please spread the word so we can expand our writer base.

Please spread the word so people will know they can find books every Saturday at Mower’s Meadow Flea Market in Woodstock.

Thanks!

Thurman Greco

March 30th Book Signing at Inquiring Minds Book Store in Saugerties: Please Join Us!

Please join me for a book signing

at 6:30 pm

at the Inquiring Minds Bookstore located at 66 Partition Street in

Saugerties on

on Saturday, March 30th.

I’ll be reading from I Don’t Hang Out in Churches Anymore.

This memoir features wonderful, true stories about hunger in America, related by those around us who live it.  This book reveals the food pantry where I worked as a place where miracles are real and hearts are healed.

The stories I’ll read at this book signing promise to open your eyes and your heart as I share moving experiences and miracles in the pantry.

Coming from the heart, the stories offer inspiration and comfort.

I look forward to seeing you there!

If you haven’t been to the Inquiring Minds Bookstore before – or in awhile -please join us! If you visit Inquiring Minds everyday, it’s okay.  Please join us.  It’s one of my favorite places.  Actually, I’m not alonewith that opinion.  All of us who shop there feel comfortable in the atmosphere and, of course, we all love the books!

Writers and poets know the most about what makes a book store wonderful.  After all, we know a lot about words.  The BEST words are found at Inquiring Minds.

I love attending the monthly readings at Inquiring Minds.  Everyone is so friendly.   The poems and stories read on  the last Saturday of the month at the readings are never disappointing.

Thurman

Hope to see you on the 30th!

You are Invited to a Book Signing!

Please join me at the Mower’s Meadow Flea Market at 10:00 a.m. this coming Saturday, September 22nd  where I’ll be reading from my recently published book, “I Don’t Hang Out in Churches Anymore” and there will be a book signing  for you at that time.

Light Refreshments will be Served!

I hope you can make it to this book signing on Saturday morning.  The author talk will be interesting. The chocolate brownies promise to be delicious!  My pen will not run out of ink.

My daughter, Michele Garner, designed the cover.  My writing teacher, Cullen Thomas, came up with the title.

And, of course, what better location for the book signing  than the Mower’s Meadow Flea Market?

Then, after the author talk and the book signing, you can visit all the booths at the market!

Look forward to seeing you!
